Kathy's Journey Around the World
The most important lessons I’ve learned in life have come from my travel experiences. My first international venture was a trip to Brazil at the age of 11, during which I explored Rio, Curitiba, and the extraordinary Iguazu Falls. In my junior year at Vanderbilt University, I participated in Semester at Sea, visiting 12 countries and cruising 25,000 miles around the world. It was on this trip my true love of travel blossomed. After graduation, I was awarded a fellowship in London, where I worked at Lloyd's of London as an aviation insurance broker. Remaining overseas, I earned an MSc from the London School of Economics. Living, working, and studying in London for several years provided easy access to Europe and the UK. Since then, I have continued to fill the pages of my passport.
My husband, Matt and I share a love for travel and have made it a priority for ourselves and our three children. After moving back to Boston in 2023 following 18 years in Chicago, I am excited to rediscover the East Coast. Martha's Vineyard is always home in the summer. Working as a luxury travel consultant allows me to apply my natural skills, combining enthusiasm, experience, and organizational abilities to make your travel experiences unique, rewarding, memorable, and smooth. I look forward to curating memories for your friends and family!
